Hi! I'm Aubrey.

Hi! I'm Aubrey.
I am an artist based in LA (but from the good 'ol Midwest). This blog is a record of my life as a painter/artist. It is here to help me keep my place and motivation, ground me to learning and be a connection to other artists.

Starship Paint Mask

A guy at work created this paint mask for me. (Thanks Jake!) I am going to use it to screen print little starships onto several T's for my husband.
I promised that I would do this for his birthday...which was August 13th. Hmm...running a bit behind.

This makes me wonder am I exhibiting a pattern of stalled project behavior from which I will never escape?! Sortof. Try to cheer self by thinking that nothing is completely stalled but merely slooowly moving. (Riiiiiight.)

It's interesting how pressure can do wonders for working on a project.

Are you going to do recycled tshirts or new tshirts?

Aubrey,
Like what I see in your blog...neat stuff! My daughter, who is a print major at O.U., just taught me how to screenprint...what fun is this!! So I can relate to mask!!!

Erika- The plan is to sneak a few T-shirts that he already has & secretly screen the Starship on them. Then, he'll pull a T-shirt out one day, put it on and...amazing-ness!
