Stacey has been working on this painting during our meetings. It has a great gestural quality right now and I think that her 'rents will love the gift when she's finished and presents it to them.

I recently started a bi-weekly painting group w/ some of my friends. Above is a piece that I finished (after 8 months!) for my friend Chrissy during one of our meetings. Chrissy has just taken up painting as a hobby and is putting out some really great work (see below). I can't wait to see the kind of stuff that she'll be churning out when she's been painting for a year or so.
